They put an armchair in the office for visitors (or Dad) to sit and relax in, right next to one of the network jacks. It’s entirely too cozy. I love it. Now all I need is a job so I can get my own house and an office to do that to. *sigh* One of these days. Speaking of jobs, the IBM gig fell through. I finally sent off an email to the consulting firm and they confirmed that they don’t have anything available just yet. Hopefully something will turn up that I qualify for. I did send off a resume to google for a job not too different from the one I was there as a contractor for, but haven’t heard back from a human being. I’m not expecting much, but it’d be nice to go back to work for them. They rocked as an employer. Speaking of former employers, Transmeta has announced the release of a new chip. Hopefully this’ll mean that they may need to hire new folks sometime soon. I’d go back to work for them in a heartbeat, too. Anyhow, that’s all from me for now.
