Harry Potter 5

My Precious in my grubby little hands. Yes, I went out to Borders and bought my very own copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I was trying to lie to myself and say I’d finish my Anne McCaffrey book, but I lacked the will to resist Harry. This book is a BEHEMOTH! Weighing in at 870 pages, it’s the longest HP book yet. (I’m ecstatic about this, BTW!) I doubt I’ll be getting any sleep or doing anything else for the next 12 hours. I’m reading! Anyway, I’ll have my thoughts on it later on this afternoon. I can certainly say that the first fifty pages have been enthralling! This book starts off action-packed. 🙂 I won’t say any more now. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>

  1. How far are you in the book?
I still haven’t read the fourth one yet, so I need to wait for my gf to get it back from her coworker.

  2. Dear Ian,
My nephew Maxime doesn’t speak English and thus will not be able to read Harry Potter 5 before December!!! For a 12-year old boy, this time distance seems as far as entering into College.
Since I can speak and write English better than he does, and due to my responsability as his lovely aunt, I told him I would try to figure out somebody who had read Harry Potter 5 already. I found your website by asking “harry potter 5 resume” on google. I feel lucky I have found you!
So I can ask you the question my nephew asked me to solve “WHO dies in Harry Potter 5 ???”. If you have the answer, please have mercy of a 12-year old boy who has read only 4 books entirely in his life: HP1, 2, 3 and 4…. THANK YOU !!!
    Catherine

  3. Aaaaah, but that leaves me with a moral dilemma there. The Harry Potter rumor pages should tell you all that information. I really can’t say this soon or I would *really* spoil it everybody else I know who has yet to read the book. (Specifically, my mother. She would absolutely throttle me if I told that before she read it!)
I can, however point you to the Harry Potter Lexicon. You may find out there who dies.
