WordPress Theme Viewer looking for some more modern-looking themes for my site last night. I found a couple themes that looked cool, but would have required a lot more work on my part to get running smoothly. As it is, I found sites by this guy. His themes are fairly simple, yet attractive. Unlike my old theme which was full width, these themes are fairly fixed, but at least stay centered on the page. So far, I’m happy with how this one’s turning out, so I think I’ll stick with it for a bit. There’s another one he’s got that’s fairly colorful that I might swap to if I decide that this one’s too red, or dark, or … whatever. One of these days, I’ll set up a theme switcher for the site so that visitors can pick the theme that suits them best. I’ll have some work to do on the themes I’ve installed but haven’t really used yet in order to get them ready, but I think it’ll be worth it in the end. Anyway, that’s it from me for now.
