Hearing Dvorak, New Zealand

grateful thanks to my parents I have purchased a pair of these. (Click here to skip the flash intro.) They’re the top-of-the-line, according to my audiologist. We’ll see. I should have them before I head off to New Zealand. Actually, the hope is that I get them next Monday, but they’ll more likely arrive Wednesday. Now all I gotta do is work out a payment plan that my parents can live with… 😉 I’m still using the dvorak keyboard layout. I’m much faster at it than I was last week. I’m getting better and better at it daily and it’s showing. Anymore when I get on the qwerty keyboards I have to really concentrate at what I’m typing. I’m telling y’all that this layout is so much more logical. One word of caution to those of you out there who may be thinking of trying it: the best way to learn it is full immersion, and unless you’re able to do your job for a few days at 30% typing speed, you’ll have a difficult time at it. However, if you DO have a week to devote to it, you’ll love it, I’m sure! As for my trip to New Zealand, the tickets have been purchased and my travel arrangements have been laid out. I’m not exactly certian how often I’ll be updating the site, but do expect to hear from me at least once while I’m there. And do expect to see pictures! I’m not sure what I’ll do while I’m down there, but I hope I enjoy ALL of it! (After all, it will be the first time I’ve been back since we moved up here in 1979!) Well, that’s enough outta me for tonite. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
