ass off up at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort I had a kickass time and the weather was GREAT (well, for the first half of the day). The snow – oh, the snow!!! Man, it was AWESOME! I can now officially say that I’m addicted to God’s greatest drug of all – fine, fresh powder snow! It was knee-to-thigh deep over most of the mountain (groomed runs excepted). Oh, it was just sweeet! And speaking of "sweeet," all you South Park fans should check out this site. It’s got 3D renderings of all your favorite characters! Why am I so excited about SP all of a sudden? Well, I’ve just been watching a lot of it lately. I think I like it. I may just have to start getting more and more of it on DVD. 😉 Today I got to spend some time with my Mom & Dad. It was really great to see them again. I got to see them for a short time when I went to pick them up from the airport in San Francisco a few days back, but this time I got to hear more about their trip. I also got to see the pictures and stuff they brought back with them. I can’t wait to get my chance to go back down there in August. This will be the first time since the Sterling Family moved up to California in 1979 that I will see the country of my birth. <sniff> I’m getting all emotional now thinking about it! I’ll get to pay homage to the towns, mountains, and landmarks that I name all my computers after! And to those of you down there that I will have the opportunity to visit – keep a mid-week day open to hit the slopes. I wanna spend a few of my days down there skiing! (Okay, I’ll be snowboarding, but still, skiing’s easier to say.) 😉 I would also like to take this time to thank my parents for bringing home with them a taste of New Zealand. They gots me some Jaffas, a HUGE jar of Vegemite, a BIG bag of Smarties, some Pineapple Lumps, and a book called “The Bay” which is a history of Titahi Bay. Thank you guys!
