I wish more people had the courtesy to do this. Now I have a rant. This is not directed at any particular people, but just something that really came to the front this weekend when I chose to raid rather than spend time with friends. Again, this is just something *I* personally need to say. I’m not trying to start shit, but I need to let people know how I feel. <rant> I’d like to add that if people have signed up for raids and they don’t plan on making it to at least be courteous to the rest of the guild members and either post to the forums or decline themselves from the calender event so that the rest of us don’t sit around wondering where everybody is. I know I’ve been signed up for two raids that I missed, and none in the recent weeks. My schedule has me working during the week when the rest of you are raiding, and then free on the weekends. I don’t get to see my RL friends very often these days, and I chose to raid because there were likely to be spots open. I took a look at the calendar and saw 9 signed up. I made 10. Come raid time, only 3 signed-up people were on, with one more person who was invited. Because I thought I’d try to be helpful to the guild, I missed out on spending time with friends I won’t see now for another three weeks. So, Thank you to the people who signed up but didn’t show. I really appreciate your courtesy. (yes, that’s sarcasm) </rant> If you’ve read this far, I thank you. I really love this guild. I have a home here, and I like running with you all. I have been really disconnected for the last two months because my work has isolated me from the rest of you. I want nothing more than for this guild to succeed. We’re going through some tough times right now, but that’s life. These things happen. I don’t know where I’m going with this. I just wanted to express my concerns. I really shouldn’t actually even post this message to the forums, but my impulsive ass needs to do it anyway. Anyway… That’s my post that I did not, in fact actually post to the guild site.
