Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

wonderful movie, but got carried away. Well, that and my internet was out most of that day. (The issue finally got resolved yesterday, but that’ll be in another post.) Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is a movie starring Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman about a magical toy store. According to MovieTickets.com, “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium is the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. In fact, it’s a magic toy store and everything in it comes to life–including the store itself. The emporium asks only one thing of its customers–you must believe it to see it.” This is a perfect movie for a dreamer like me. I was able to get wrapped up inside the world created by this movie very shortly after it started. I cried during the tear-jerking scenes, and laughed during the funny scenes. Overall, I left the theater with a lift in my heart and spring in my step. Yes, it’s mushy, but that’s how I felt. My friend who went with me didn’t like it that much. He thought it dragged on and he just couldn’t get into it. I just had four words for him, “You liked Blade Trinity.” Anyway… If you’re looking for a wonderful family-friendly movie that’s good for all ages, I highly recommending spending some of your hard-earned dosh on this flick. I give it two thumbs up! Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>
