City Beach Rock Gym in Fremont. We met up with my other buddy John and climbed for about two hours or so. It was a good time with the three of us. Finished off the night bouldering. Saturday, I woke up earlier than planned and promptly proceeded to kill my fileserver before I headed up to Red Bluff to visit Heather. Because of my time troubleshooting my server, I ended up leaving late but got to her place only about an hour late. She showed up shortly after that. I dumped the contents of my iPod and several CDs onto her computer and gave her the T-shirt I bought her when I was in Florida. She looks pretty good in it, too! I thought though, that the lettering would be lower, but it still looks good. Keeps you looking at her chest. 😉 We headed off to Redding for Dinner and a Movie. (Yes, first there were boobies, then a date! You’d think I was starting to swing for the other team, huh?) I have to recommend the movie we saw though – Lord of War was a FANTASTIC movie, and Nick cage was pretty damned good in it. Sir Ian Holm was in there as well, but they killed him closer to the end off and I was sad. 🙁 Left Red Bluff about an hour and a half late and, after an hour-long nap in Benicia – got home at 3:30am. Sunday, I woke up bright and early at 0800 and made my way to Mission Lanes for Andy’s surprise birthday party. There were several other bowlers from work there, as well as a few of Andy’s other friends. I’ve never seen him so surprised and totally stoked before. A good time was had by all. Oh, and I managed to bowl a pair of 141s, so I’m happy. His son gave me his old Storm StrongArm Plus wrist brace, which gave me an extra 50 pins over my warm-up games. If I can keep that up at Moonlite Lanes for league bowl on Thursday, I’ll be *very* happy. 🙂 After bowling, I came home and got caught up on missed sleep before my usual Sunday Night NA meeting. Anyway, that’s the extent of my weekend. It was good thanks to the wonderful friends I have, and the fact that Heather is a great gal to have for a friend. (I certainly wouldn’t want her as an enemy, her LJ handle describes her to a Tee.) ;)]]>
