Greater San Jose Area of NA holds its’ monthly Area Service Committee meetings. I was elected last Sunday to represent a group there every month for the next year. I’ve done Area-level service in three different Areas and one other Region prior to this. You could say I’ve got a handle for the way things are supposed to go. I actually enjoy being able to take the information back to the groups and whatnot. Some areas are good, some not so good, but each is autonomous. I just have one thing to say about what I experienced this evening: It’s gonna take me a while to get used to the way this Area conducts its’ business. They’re very efficient in a lot of ways, but I’m not really keen on some of the other things that are done. I guess I just need to place principles before personalities and all will be well. Anything else, I need to call my sponsor before taking action. (My sponsor will probably have me write about it…) Anyway… Just hadda blab.
