Going Gray?

first white hair… I took it and showed it to my parents. (I was at their place) I thought it was funny. I mentioned it to a friend of mine and he said, "You should never pluck your gray hair or ten more will come back in its place!!!" Yeah right. This morning I noticed another white hair on my chin and several along my jawline. I’m only 31 for goodness sake! I shouldn’t be going gray this soon, damnit. <sigh> Oh well. Who knows… maybe by the time I’m 40 I’ll be able to play Santa Claus for my nephew – complete with white beard and everything. I feel sooooo ancient. Anyhow, that’s all from me for now. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>

  1. Dood, don’t even go there. Not only has my hairline been receding since I was 20, but I started going grey not long after I joined the army. Why do you think I shave my head??
And I’m almost two years younger than you are…(But at least my beard’s not greying.)

  2. Yeah, you constantly say how old you feel compare to me, but I’ve gotten gray hairs since I was 19 or so. Now I have at least four follicles that regularly grows gray hair.
And I don’t believe that “10 will grow in its place” either. But I gotta tell ya, I have to pluck a gray hair from the same follicle every other week or so.
At least I’m not going bald, though.

  3. Just shave the hair off, Q. Join us. You will be assimilated.
I don’t have any grey hairs that I know of. I imagine they’re coming though. Of couse they’ll only be visible in the goatee…
