DENIED!

derogitory credit. They make it sound so horrible. It’s not a huge loss though. I get my deposit back. With that, plus the other $350 I had set aside for the down payment on the bike, I’m left with an additional $650 in my bank account. Time to call up some of my past creditors and see WTF I owe money on still… Go figure. I’ll probably end up putting some of it into a savings account though. I really need to get that started up again. I guess it was just not time for me yet. Besides, I should really give it some time for a few tickets to drop offa my driving record. That should help with the insurance when I finally DO get something to ride. In other news, I was asked two weeks ago to go speak at an NA meeting last night. Basically, my sponsor railroaded me into doing it. It’s okay though – I got a lot out of it, and I had some people come up to me after the meeting to say that I’d shared pretty much their life’s stories. NA is funny like that sometimes. We all think we’re different from and we find out that we’re just as nuts as the next guy. 🙂 Anyhow, that’s it for now. Nothing much else is new. So with that I’m gone. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>

  1. What to do with the extra $$$?
Look back a couple entries: ” I’m waiting for my medical benefits from work to kick in so I can go visit the doctor. Then I’m gonna go visit a shrink and get my head checked. After that a visit to the dentist is in order, then a visit to the eye doctor. Yes, I’m getting an overhaul. 😀 “

  2. More ideas for “spare” $$$:
“and I’m beginning to think that it’s about time for some new tires on Mary Mitsubishi (my car). “

  3. Oh you always find a way to take the fun out of everything… :-b
Actually, I’m gonna put the $300 I’d put on the bike into a new savings account. So there. NYAH!

  4. Bank choices – If you have the luxury, check out patelco.org. I have a checking account at BofA only because their ATMs are EVERYWHERE. But I keep most of my funds at Patelco. Their interest rates are quite a bit higher than most banks, and there’s an office right across the freeway from your work. They also have a spring special every year that gives higher interest rate. Last year, they had a money market account with a really high interest rate. This year, they have specials on CDs. I definitely recommend you check them out.
