Silver Platter

OUCH! I must say though, that I rather enjoyed todays game – it was an EXCELLENT game. As for the commercials, I’m rather disappointed. Nothing matches the "Wazoo" ad of e*trade.com several years back. That ad was TOTALLY funny. Anyhow… I have chores to do now. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>

  1. Note: Said TD was scored on interception number five. It was so beautiful.
But it’s really a damned shame the Lombardi Trophy didn’t come back to the SF Bay Area, where it rightfully belongs…

  2. D00d, nothing was as funny as the game itself… yet.
You see, the Raider fans have been mysteriously quiet for nearly 48 hours now… I predict that, any day, now, the WHINING will begin.
THEN things will get REALLY funny.
And you know why? Because without fail, everyone who has ever called my team the “40-whiners” has been a Raiders fan. Yeah, the same guys (and gals) who’ve been screaming for a whole year now, wailing and gnashing their teeth that they were “screwed” by the Patriots. Heehee… let’s hear it for all us FBHS alumni, yo!

  3. Well, apparently there’s some big bruhaha going on about how some things went down and that there may be a lawsuit surfacing any day now regarding the referreeing of the game. Yep, looks like we have a bunch of crybabies on our hands. Glad I wasn’t anywhere near Oakland on Sunday. Talkabout tempermental folks… 😉

  4. Well, those rioters would have rioted [sic] regardless of Raiders winning or losing. It’s just the way our society is. My part of Oakland was pretty quiet.

  5. Ya know, I forgot that you and another friend of mine both lived in Oakland. The other guy lives up in the hills – far away from International Boulevard. I’m glad that your hood was quiet. 😀

  6. I can’t remember what company did this, but I think it was 2 years ago, where the cowboys are trying to herd cats…. I about cried I was laughing so hard.
