Clean

half-inch thick!!! So our work area is clean and tidy, and the ethic bleeds over into our finished product. All the cables in the computers are wrapped and laid out so that the insides of the chassis are nice and tidy and the airflow is at its best. Having a tidy work area helps me to realize how much of a slob I’ve been at home. Ever since I cleaned up my bedroom a month ago, I’ve managed to keep the floors tidy. When I replaced my desk over the Thanksgiving weekend, the room got tidier and the living room floor has stayed relatively tidy. It really makes a difference in how I feel about my place and myself. Who knows? Maybe eventually I’ll actually keep my home as tidy as the production crew at work keeps our work area…. Only time will tell… And with that, I’m out of here for the night. It’s getting late and I’m getting tired. Thanks for visiting and Keep Coming Back!!!]]>

  1. My 7th Grade English teacher used to say “A clean desk is a clear mind.” I think your surroundings not only have a huge impact on how you feel about your place in the world, but it also says a lot about you as a person. Unless you have two kids. Then all rules of tidiness and order go right out the window LOL

  2. Yeah, my desk here at work is a wee bit cluttered… Not terrible, but a bit cluttered. Most of the problem is that I don’t have a whole lot of space on my desk. It’s a touch small. In fact, it’s the smallest workspace I’ve had in years. YEARS! Last time I had a desk this size I was working for TDSI and doing CAD for SBC/PacBell…
