And… I get a door that locks! w00t! The funniest part is that I’m relocating my home-away-from-home at the same time I’m moving my home-home as well. How ironic, huh? As for the title of today’s entry, I’ve been riding my bicycle to and from work this week. Wow, I’m telling ya. It’s pretty cool. It’d be cooler if I had my car still, but that’s okay. I’m getting quite a nice workout. After 3 days of it, I can already feel a difference in the energy I have. I really noticed a difference this evening while I was climbing. I was doing some very difficult climbs and getting quite winded, but I think I could have gone on for another hour. (Yet I was content with the climbs I did so quitting for the night when I did was okay with me…) I like the new place so far. I love having my own washer and dryer! I forgot how nice it is to be able to do a load of laundry whenever I needed or wanted to. That and I don’t have that long walk down the hall or a wait to see if I can get a washer. I also don’t need to keep $20 in quarters just for laundry day. VERY nice. I got all my utilities transferred over on Tuesday. I got my order for DSL placed today, sorta… Pacbell’s phone systems aren’t updated yet, so providers don’t know if I’m able to get DSL yet or not. *sigh* Whatever. The people I talked with today were EXCELLENT and the level of service I got was just top notch! Way to go SBC! Anyhow, I’m rambling now.
